Method 2 – After selecting the editor, the user should see a + icon. Selecting this should show a list of the most common blocks used. If the event list block is not there, use the search feature to find it.

Event List Block Features

Side Panels

After selecting the accordion block, the user will see the following options on the right hand panels:

  • Feed Options – Users can select if the events need to be pulled from a specific category, organization, location, or tag. Users can also select how many events will need to be displayed in the block.
  • Display Options – Enable dark mode in this panel. Also change the message that shows up whenever there are no upcoming events.
  • Advanced Feed Options – Select an offset to skip a given number of events before starting the results. Exclude upcoming events from the list. Under “Data Source”, enter the URL of the website where the website will pull events from. This is usually done if the events live on another website, like CAHNRS Events.
  • Space Settings – Users can add margin and/or padding to the accordion blocks. This is usually done to add more spacing around block so they are not too close to other elements.
  • Advanced – Allows users to schedule the block, position the block, and hide the block on a specific breakpoint.
  • Block Scheduling (if enabled) – Allows block to be scheduled. This causes the block to be published or unpublished depending on the date selected.
