Web Services

The Web Service Center provides web support and training for CAHNRS and Extension. Our core services are provided at no cost. Paid services are available, depending on our project workload. Please refer to our list of services below for more information.

Services

Core (no cost) services

  • WordPress training, including WordPress plugin training
  • Web Accessibility training
  • Website accessibility check (the web team will perform 1 site accessibility check at no cost. Additional checks will be charged at $65/hr)
  • WordPress CMS and plugin maintenance
  • Site performance consultation and evaluations, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Web analytics training and performance reports
  • Weekly open labs

Paid services

  • Any grant-funded project
  • Event websites, micro-sites, or any custom web design/development
  • Custom plugin development
  • Routine website updates
  • Form development
  • Custom HTML emails and newsletters
  • Effective July 1, 2023, site migrations into the new WSU Web Design System are a paid service. The cost will depend on the size of the website. Please refer to the cost sheet for more information on pricing.

The hourly rate for paid services for CAHNRS and Extension clients is $65/hr. External constituents will be charged $85/hr.
